JEE-Joint Entrance Examination
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a Computer based exam, conducted in two steps
- Step 1 - JEE Main (Twice a Year - January & April)
- Step 2- JEE Advanced (Once Only - May,for students who qualify)

- This screening exam is conducted twice a year (Jan & April)and those students who qualify in this examination are allowed to appear for JEE-Advanced(the next stage)
- Gateway for Engineering aspirants to 31 NITs, 23 IITs, 20 GFTIs
- Single choice objective paper (MCQ) with equal weightage is given to Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- Duration of the paper is 3 hours (online)

JEE Advanced
- This is the second stage of the entrance test for admissions to IITs, IISc, IIST, for students who qualify in JEE Main
- Only Top 2,45,00 successful candidates of JEE Main are eligible
- Conducted by the seven zonal IITs-IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee
- Two objective Online papers, each of 3 hours duration with equal weightage given to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- The JEE Advanced exam helps every year tentatively in the in the 3rd week of May

MHT-CET-The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test
- MHT-CET exam is conducted for Admission to State Level Colleges to shortlist the candidates for admission to the first-year B.E / B.Tech/Pharmacy programs.
- MHT-CET exam comprises a total of 150 multiple choice objective-type questions.
- The duration of this exam will be 180 minutes.
- No marks will be deducted for any incorrect answer.
- 50 Questions each PCM/PCB where Physics & Chemistry {Carry 1 mark each},Maths {Carry 2 mark each}, Botony & Zoology {Carry 1 mark each}.
- The mode of examination is Online.
- The candidate seeking admission to first-year Engineering and Technology degree courses it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- The candidate seeking admission to first-year Pharmacy degree courses it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics and/or Biology.

Admission Procedure
- BITSAT is the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test for admission to the engineering degree courses at the BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.
- BITS aspirants should appear for class XII board exams and a secure minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- BITSAT is a Computer Based Online Test. The duration Of BITSAT is 3 hours with 150 multiple-choice questions.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks. I mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. (Negative Marking)
